Test driving toyota 86@fuji speedway oct 2011

2011年10月某日 早朝の富士スピードウェイで初試乗。6速MTモデルで3周連続ラップの模様。スタート後1周目はグリップ走行。2周目からVSCoffでドリフトコントロールをチェック。­ステアリングの動きと周囲の景色で感じ取ってください。タイヤは215/45R17のミシュランPRIMACY.プリウスに装着される同銘柄同サイズ。タイヤに依存しない­走りが開発の基本ポリシー。ちなみにBS POTENZA RE011も試したが、サーキットに限れば断然こっちという感じだった。

Love the boxer sound! change the Muffler and I bet it will transform to a manly burp. The car looks very friendly on high speed corners despite it was using energy saving tires. The switch from neutral to oversteer is very predictable and easily catchable. It is lovely to see this video!

@derbigpr500 i own a Corolla version of your Si called the Xrs. it's has less hp, but it's almost 300 lbs lighter than that over-hyped sport sedan/coupe which makes it as fast, maybe faster than the Civic without being pricey to buy and insure and has more exclusivity than the Si, which is considered the "Corolla" of the tuner crowd, how ironic. Si is not the worst car, but its far from being the absolute best. and with the GT-86/FR-S coming out, the Si will be overshadowed...
