Apparently bus-sized is now a measurement used for asteroids.

There sure has been a lot of less than 1 LD passes in the 8-12 months. Is it because we are just better at seeing them and we didn't realize how frequently it happens? Or because more people can see the same things only the governments used to be privy to, so they report out from underneath to squelch any hysteria? Or is it that we(sol-system) are passing through something nasty at the moment and 4/13/2036 will be just a warm up to a bigger chain of events? DUN DUN DUN!!!

Why was this news? An asteroid of that size would likely cause an extremely small amount of damage if any, and that is only if it doesn't completely burn up and break apart on entry. Looks like the news really is devoted solely to profiting off of people's fears.

i wanted to nose bonk it with my shred sled

We'll suit up Barry Bonds to whack the damn to Jupiter. No problem.

We are all going to fucking DIE!!!...oh wait..

So its inside our gravitational pull like our moon? What if this is really a mini-moon?
haha, i love how the "school bus" is the official unit of measurement for asteroids.
