This is me performing the world's first Tsukahara Arabian Double Front in competition at the Sand Dollar/Whitlow Invitational in 2009. I didn't stick it (obviously), but my feet hit first which means I got credit for doing the skill.

  • Hey Jeremy, it would be great if you could post a response to this once you've got it down. It would be cool to see the progression. Best wishes.

  • Check out my national qualifier video; I didn't land it, but I came damn close during training.

Unfortunately I won't be able to work it for awhile, since I sprained my ankle.

  • what is it worth?

  • I subbed it to USAG, and they gave it a 6.6 difficulty score.

  • they only gave it a 6.6? isn't that what a tsuk double back is worth (without the extra half and blind landing)??

  • yup

  • @CassidyMcComb2010 Is there ANY vault that has that high of a difficulty value?

  • @CassidyMcComb2010 Bahah I think that's a little overdramatic. There are other vaults out there that are much more difficult;)

  • @GeoffTaucer

well is the USAG blind or something i woudl give it al least a 7.5 start value because first of all its a blind landing second of all its a tsukahara entry with a half twist or quarter twist out of it so it's basically just a double front half out but with a tsukahara entry that should be somewhere in-between the 7.5-7.8 start value range

  • great height!

  • I used to do this from a Yurchenko. Awesome stuff, man!

  • a 6.6??????!!!!!!! That's bullsh*t.

  • In the summer Universiade 2009 a north Korean guy Se Gwang Ri made a tsuk double with full twist O.o and took it with just a couple steps. *respect*

  • you're amazing! that's such a hard vault, and you created that vault! and I agree, it should be a 7.0
