Turkey Leg Song / Poke the Pirate - Nebraska Renaissance

(Thank you, Dawn, for sending me this home video and allowing me to post it.)

Just when you thought there were no witnesses and no one remembered, someone sends you a DVD of some home movie they recorded at the 2004 Nebraska Renaissance Faire (CJ Holling Summer Camp in Ashland, NE).

In this instance, Dawn, the mom, caught me, the yellow pirate of the Pirate Comedy Show, singing "The Turkey Leg Song" to her daughter. It was all fun and games until Have Court, Will Travel (the royal court) decided to show up and reprise their game, "Poke the Pirate" (which either started here, or at the Des Moines Renaissance Faire).

It's not pretty, but it is what it is.

Cringe,...no it's not pretty, wish I had voice editing capabilities and I would have "removed" my "sing-a-long" didn't realize that was on there. But the Poke-the-Pirate priceless...
