I live in SD and have visited the sanctuary many times. Its a fascinating place and well worth the trip. Just a few miles from Mt Rushmore and a peek into what the area looked like thousands of years ago. They have over 700 wild horses that would have been slaughtered by the govt selling them to kill dealers.
