Perry's unacceptable behavior http://bit.ly/bhmpob
Sergeant Jeffrey Davis Perry, Wareham, P.D. -The Rest Of The Story http://bit.ly/apKdIa

Former Police Sgt Jeff Perry protected the officer who illegally strip-searched a teenage girl (actually two teenage girls, ages 14 and 16) and did not protect the teenage girls-the people whom he had taken a sworn oath as a police officer to protect.

Then Perry tried to cover it up. To this day he denies knowing it was going on although his own attempt to cover it up belies that assertion, and his story has changed as new contradictory facts emerged.

After the second illegal strip-search, Jeff Perry went to the home of the second girl, lied to her parents about what happened, and intimidated them so that they would not report the incident. Neither Jeff Perry or Officer Scott Flanagan, who later pleaded guilty and served 4 years jail time, reported the incident as is standard police procedure.

Perry has been endorsed by presidential hopeful Mitt Romney and sitting US Senator Scott Brown. I will update this when Mr Romney or Mr Brown rescinds their endorsement.

The pedophile policeman Scott Flanagan pleaded guilty to sexual offenses and went to jail for 4 years. Police officer Sgt Jeff Perry resigned from the Wareham police department 17 days after this incident.

Wareham was sued twice over these incidents, lost once in court and settled the other out of court costing taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars. Jeff Perry was never publicly rebuked for his failure to perform his duty or charged with conspiracy to commit sexual assault on a minor before or after the fact.

Perry had other problems on the force as a police officer rooted in his credibility. He entrapped motorists by playing the "red light game." His police chief said, under oath, Jeff Perry was unreliable telling the truth and that he did not trust Jeff Perry to carry a gun.
