Top 10 Worst Game Endings (part 1)

From Apple to Wii and from Zork to Zelda; I've played a lot of games through the years. Many of them had great stories, and great endings...though not all. These are the top ten worst game endings I ever saw. The ground rules: 1) only games that at least TRIED to tell a story (so no Doom's infamous bunny-on-a-stick "ending" doesn't count). Rule two: only games five years old or more, so this list is as spoiler-free as possible. Enjoy...!

from the moment he said halo 2 i knew this guy had no idea what he is on about, halo 2 is a KEY part of the halo story, of course it wont have an ending its the middle of the fucking story you moron. Halo is a series of games telling one story you fucking idiot. Learn about the story before attempting insulting its last cutscene -.-

@warhawkmedia When mom buys you all three Halo games at once and you play them back to back, I am sure it seems like "one whole game" and its "no big deal" that Halo 2 had no ending. When older gamers bought Halo 2 in 2003 and learned they had to wait THREE YEARS to pay ANOTHER 60 DOLLARS ***AND*** A WHOLE BRAND NEW GAME SYSTEM to see the WHOLE story? Oh, yeah, that was annoying. Learn more about game history **prior** to 2007 before your next fanboy rant.

diablos ending only seems stupid if you didnt pay attention to the story at all.. theres a reason why he "hit himself in the head with the rock" its not like it was just some random thing... you made it stupid by not knowing the story..

The worst game ending was the legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The game was good but the ending was like shit.

They could have made Halo 2 like GOW 2. Leaves you with a bunch of Titans climbing Mt. Olympus to fight Gods while overlooking the destruction of humanity. Now thats how you leave a cliffhanger!

@warhawkmedia are you kidding me bro? I understand the time constraint Bungie had with Halo 2 and also the fact that they are one of the most loyal developers to their community but what they did with Halo 2's ending was not fan service.
