John McCain has forever tarnished the reputation of the Republican Party. His legacy will be that, and that alone.

Try as he may, his false sense of being right where he wants to be belies John McCain's true status in the campaign for President of the United States.

At least be up front with Americans on the way IN to office - we can only assume if you're going to lie and pretend on the way IN, you're going to do much worse once you get settled.

And, if the rumblings I am hearing about a '3am call' type ad are correct, your hail-mary attempt to slice up the election in your favor are going to be met with American outrage at your last, most vicious gimick and attempt at smearing Obama. Your legacy will be sealed.

So, let's see how John McCain wants his legacy to be remembered. So far, he's well on his way to making this the most embarrassing election ever waged in the name of the Republican Party.

You die-hard religious far-right Republicans should be so proud.
