Hampi is the old capital of the ancient Vijayanagara Empire and houses the Virupaksha Temple, as well as several other monuments belonging to the ancient city. It's also a place of natural beauty with jungles, mountains, rivers, and huge boulders everywhere! We had a fascinating day exploring this place, including a Holy Boat Trip on the Holy River Tungabhadra, and a Holy Climb up to the Top of the Holy Matanga Hill where we drank Holy Chai at the Holy Veerabhadra Temple with the Holy Monkeys!
