Charlie had the greatest voice. He had iron chops like Elvis. However, I'm not believing his lyrics here, as lovely as his tone and pitch are. Elvis and Johnny Cash always dug in deep. Charlie's voice equals theirs, but Charlie didn't start digging till later in his career.

OH MY GOD..............i have looked and looked for this song for years.......Can't believe this is here......Thank u SO much for posting......i'm cutting a long story short but a dear friend of mine died last week and when our children were young and we were stuck in the house and the men were at the pub we used to play this at end of night.......after a few empty bottles and we would sit on the floor crying as we listened to this ,,,,,,, oh thank you for posting and RIP dear Isabel.......
