A speed run through Bramble Blast on the GBA. The first thing you'll notice is that the music was absolutely BUTCHERED -- it sounds a lot worse than the SNES and even the GB. Which is kinda sad when it's the most popular track in the game.

Anyway, this run is fairly good. For the most part, I go through the barrels fairly quickly and take a few shortcuts. I get hit a few times, and two of those times are intentional. I also get the bonuses, DK coin, and Gold Feather (no, it doesn't make you invincible). It's not as good as the DKL2 run, however, but this is my best attempt at the level.

This run was requested by NintendoFreak29.

  • Honestly, I don't think this port is bad. All everybody does is expect a perfect port. Therefore, they bash all the music, new graphics, extra effects, some changes...good grief, how perfect did you want this? What's so wrong about the new map? What's so wrong with the changed noises? What's so wrong with an extra boss? WHAT'S WRONG WITH ALL OF THAT?

  • @Theman789456123pgh like paying to fight bosses again, that's like on SNES and GBA for Super Mario Advance 2 Super Mario World. In the SNES version of that game, you can replay a castle level anytime by pressing L and R on the level at the map screen. But you can't do that in GBA. For GBA you have to beat the whole game first. Stupid...

  • @LegendOfLink5130 It's weird how if you jump up into the thorns, you take no damage.

  • @Soylle Yeah, comparing GBA remakes to DS remakes, DS wins every time, like with Chrono Trigger's remake from SNES to DS, the game is still purr-fect, with many added cool stuff.

  • @SilverFoxSlasher Kremlings

    Diddy: Jumps on a Kremling

Kremling: *HONK* that's always funny XD

  • @takanuva114 Same with Chrono Trigger for SNES. I have the DS version and the music is just about the same, sounds are slightly worse but acceptable, and the maps of the area are on the touch screen. Even the battle screens look exactly the same! Unless you change it to the DS battle settings, which are a little better for me...but yeah, Chrono Trigger is literally a PERFECT example of what you guys are talking about. I bet DS remakes are always better than GBA remakes of SNES games

  • @TheSynGame Best parts for me are to see if the glitches on the snes version are still there on gba versions.

  • @jhman1 SNES bees: Hummm watch out or I sting...hummmm...

GBA bees: SUPER EXTREME CHAINSAW ATTACK CHOMPA CHOMPA BUZZ NOMA NOMA

  • @pleaseteacher71 Arright, let's see, Microsoft versus Rare. Hmm: Rare wins.

  • @lseths whats collision detection?

  • @manvvv1234 Extremely hard levels always have beautiful music to invigorate you to beat em. I love that :)
