So today is August 27, 2011 and I thought I'd prepare for Hurricane Irene which is currently coming up the East Coast. So I grabbed my old trustworthy Mag-Lite which holds 4 D Cell batteries and be sure it was ready to roll. After discarding the old batteries I dug around for some replacements and came across an old supply I had laying around. I cut the label off to be sure I knew I was using the "Oldest" batteries first. They were old alright. The label said "Best used by 2002" which means they were probably made a few years earlier. These batteries have to be 10 plus years old. I was amazed they also didn't leak. They have been stored in the basement, so maybe that helped to some degree. I have to say that I was surprised. Now, they may not last long due to age, but I have more old batteries. HA HA HA. Hope you enjoy this little video and remember: "ENERGIZER BATTERIES ROCK!!!".
