Here we take a look at the Development system of the Nintendo Gamecube. This is one of 3 development models that I know of. The system takes development cartridges rather than mini discs as the Gamecube does. A huge thanks to my friend Josh for bringing this fantastic system over for me to grab some footage from. A huge thanks aswell to Motionographers for supplying the music. Please support them by checking out the rest of there music by clicking here. http://motionographers.bandcamp.com/

  • I saw this picture of a Gamecube prototype on this article from IGN today : psp.ign.com/articles/116/1160915p1.html Is that a real prototype? I have not seen that until that IGN article.

  • @omgpwn666 Ive seen lots of different prototypes and there really only seems to be three sort of variations, there is this one, there is a vertical tower and there is one that looks more like a GC but is red and has lots of different bits to it. I have no idea what the hell that thing is on IGN lol

  • I see some PCI cards in there.

  • @8comicbooknerd9 Nice! Looking forward to it. I don't know why these things fascinate me. =)

  • @omgpwn666 HAHA, my mate who this dolphin belongs too has another 2 or 3 now so i'm going to do another video when he next gets a chance to bring one or more of them over.

  • @smashninja22 And here I thought I was the only one. XD

  • @omgpwn666 lol thats the same reason i'm doing this

  • Nice video

  • Surprisingly, the Gamecube had 3D Circuitry for developers who had wanted to implement 3D into their games. But I guess that wasn't promoted and was just left there. Now, we have the 3DS. For all we know, the Wii may have 3D circuitry- considering the recent test Nintendo R&D did with Mario Kart Wii in 3D.
