David can make fun of the situation we are in because he is a celebrity, and because it is his show..., but we all need to understand that the truth is being spoken here about how we need to go about stopping this, reversing this...and just to show everyone how bad we have made it, it is going to take many (60) years..maybe, to straighten our environment out.

Cleaning up our environment should be a million times more important than making a profit off of polluting!

@Roggo717 I 1000% agree and sympathize with you over this poorly-defined "balance of nature" crap that all-other-environmentalists-bu­t-me spew out. Their (Carson's, McKibben's) actions are better than their words.

Doing what McKibben urges us will benefit MOST species, including ours, overall.

But, as a human, I can and should choose to mathematically optimize which individuals - of any species - I wish to save or kill to prevent larger suffering somewhere else.
