They played this on "Nurse Jackie" tonight on Showtime. What a great and classy show honored by such a great and classy song.

It was on an episode of Without a Trace that I watched at like 4:00 a.m. this morning on TNT. The name of the episode was "Rage." It was about a schoolteacher trying to rescue a student from an abusive parent, while dealing with her own father's release from prison. It was an amazing episode, and this song was very haunting, capturing the feel of this powerful and poingnant episode. Well worth seeing/renting.

Patti is one of my favorite artists and this is my favorite song of hers. Absolutely beautiful!!!

Patti wrote this for the husband of a woman who was shot and killed at an abortion clinic. I sang it at a memorial for a friend who went down in tower one. Very powerful.
