nary 70 years after the events? There's nothing to cover up nowadays, its just unexplained, the guvmint couldn't say to the people that there was something they couldn't shoot down, so they just played the weather balloon card.

If this picture was taken over 70 years ago with no known possible explanation, it won't ever be solved. If it was a weather balloon, I am pretty sure the weapons they were using would have taken it down. You can also tell that there is a solid object, because the rays of light from the spotlight would have passed through a weather balloon. Thumbs up this comment?
