Dragon Cake Animated

A cute dragon cake for my daughter's 6th birthday. Nothing fancy with the cake itself, nice, flat and easy to decorate. 2 motors and 2 servos is all that under there. Oh, and the speakers of course. The "smoke" from the egg is dry ice sitting in water inside the egg. The effect only lasted about 3 minutes each change of ice but the kids thought that was the best part. Eh, I don't blame'em, smoking dragon eggs are cool. The baby dragon popping his head up and looking around turned out great. It randomly popped up and looked side to side different each time. The dragon itself moved only about 1/2 of what it was meant to. Though the original mech moved fantastically, after claying the dragon around the structure, it just didn't move the same. The shaft below was bending under the torque of the motor, I'm really surprised I didn't have my first full on cake breakdown here. Got lucky though, she danced away until the candles were blown out.
