@mixmasterxp Microsoft writes such buggy software that it has to scrap it every now and then and start over from the beginning, that's against any software engineering rule..and it happened with microsoft windows, windows mobile not to mention killed platforms like zune, silverlight etc etc..

@vorjay and guess what? I don't give a shit.. Windows has a history of anticompetitive law and guess what? now it's bullying the market.. read "Microsoft A History of Anticompetitive Behavior and Consumer Harm".. I won't be supporting their proprietary products..

@annaju86 What makes you think Windows is not a serious OS? Right now, visual studio (windows specific) is the highest ranked IDE for C++, C# and now its heading for the highest ranked in web frontend development overall. So in other words, windows is a serious platform for developers. Their server and databases are also great with the exception on cost.
The bottom line is, the best OS is the ones with the best developer ecosystem. Without us, who would use it.
