  • great songs on this tour!!!Rufus T. is great with the violin on this song and this tour!!!!

  • Thanks to Neil....Sometimes you need to call a yankee a yankee

  • @MrCritic12 I think given the style of the song and some of Neil Young's other work, that this song is cynical about extreme patriotism, or nationalism. As for inspiration, Reagan seems an unlikely source as most of the Hawks and Doves album was completed during the mid to late 70s, with it being finished in 1980. However, our nation has a long history of neocolonialism at the hands of our leaders, and especially since WW2, of nationalistic attitudes and bellicosity. No shortage of inspiration

  • @malcolmscotty1 I'm watching it right now for the 2nd and a half time. Everybody should watch the Tillman documentary and cast off their illusions. Dishonesty pervades every level of our government and media. They just picked the wrong poster-boy for their fabrications.

  • Perfect for this time of year, 10 year anniversary of 9/11. Roll on!

  • I never heard of Neil Young before till i saw the tillman story i'm a rap, reggeaton type of guy. When i heard this song i was like damn this shit goes hard.

"USA USAAAAAA." Big ups neil young!.

  • \/ great documentary along with the documentary

  • That is what I read too, just didn't know if there was more too it

  • @operationNOBO My understanding is that doves stand for peace and hawks stand for defence or war.... simplistically speaking
