In this clip i review the marshall shredmaster pedal - i think it'a totally awesome pedal for playing metal - back in the day i was well into my shredding ;)

This might be a heavey metal pedal but certainly not a one trick pony,, for example i know for a fact Jonny Greenwood from radiohead uses one as his main use of distortion.

Going to have to look for this pedal on the old ebay. I use Boss Mega-distortion. It's cool for modern stuff, but I've always preferred the 80's sound.

Heavy Marshall distortion works very well for blues if you use your volume control on your guitar, provided you're a Strat player.

Just dug out my old Shredmaster, cracked it open, chased out the spider that had taken up residence and let rip.

This pedal is still my favourite, many many years after purchase.
