Anyway- SaveBalloonBoy was a Twitter trend today I think I started. I was obsessed with the news, not unlike when Jessica McLure fell in a well 23 years ago, and the world stopped as CNN covered it... and she was safe.

Here's me with my two sons (almost same age as Falcon) reflecting on the news today... how we used Twitter to keep up because CNN wasn't realtime. Thank God Falcon Heene is safe, and was never in the balloon. But imagine being a parent watching helplessly and wanting to save him. Hope you teach your kids not to hide! :) Not blaming him or parents (although it's perplexing and tempting to question it). Anyway thank God it's alright- weird how emotional it was. I'm exhausted. When will we find a better way to gather around current events like these.. breaking news. TV isn't doing it anymore. Radio certainly didn't work.

I think the most disturbing thing was watching Falcon vomit twice on national TV. The kid looked like he was drugged out of his mind. I don't put it past that father to go as far as to drug him so he wouldn't talk. If you saw Wife Swap, the father was a complete attention hog and would have done anything to be famous!

Nalts it is true, twitter is great for real time news but you cant depend on it for real news because you dont know what is fact and what is fiction.

it is a hoax or a publicity stunt for a few reasons:

1. They called the news BEFORE 911.

2. The boy said something like 'i did it for the show'.

3. The family has been on 2 shows before
