ForeFlight on my iPad2 is all I need to fly into KSEZ. Geo referenced sectionals, weather, sits on my thigh and I'm good to go. I love your vids, Frank. Upload more--they're inspiring to us rookies! How 'bout that Metro Grill? Now THAT'S a $100 hamburger worth flying to!

@radbcc pik'n'pig in carthage, nc. better than any other barbecue restaurant on the east coast.

i love the flying part and the views are spectacular. but, there is one thing i don't understand. why would you eat at a airport restaurant? every airport restaurant i have been to has been pathetic at best...

Nice video! A tour flight at Sedona eight years ago inspired me to get my pilot license. Too bad that you'll have to upgrade that Kindle to an iPad over the next few months :-)

Very cool. Sedona is one of the places I want to fly to, and January is about the best flying month!

Next time you go, turn north about 5 miles west of the runway and fly around the big rock you see to the northwest of runway 3. Beautiful views and when you come out you are set up for left downwind on runway 3

+1 on the HD Helmet cam. If this had audio input, this quality would make for a great primary cam if it wasn't for the zoom.
Kindle DX is becoming increasingly popular as an electronic flight bag - at $459, it's cheaper than most purpose built solutions.
Sedona is still one of my favorite destinations.
I never thought of using a Kindle for creating a paperless cockpit! How easy is it to get the A/FD and approach plates from the internet onto the device?

At least 2 places on the web have approach plates BOOKS in PDF format.
