omg sin city is the best movie ever how can you dis it like that. It's storyline is so indepth every time i watch it again i find something new in it. The reason why it is in black and white is because its done in te style of the original comics, and thats also the reason for the stylistic dialogue. I think it is a fantastic movie.

The big deal is the dialogue, which works as silent comic book narration, sounds embarrasingly overdone when recited aloud in Sin City, hence the above parody (and let's face it, the blood does look like bird droppings when done in B&W).
