Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:19)---This verse says to sing and make melody...On what instrument is the melody to be made? It is the "heart" the heart is the instrument on which we are to make melody...meaning we are to "sing from the heart" praise to the Lord.

I love when hymns are sung A Cappella it means so much more and when singing hymns A cappella you are truly singing from the heart, just as we are commanded in Ephesians 5 :19
