Making a Muslin

Some ten years ago, I owned my business: women ready-to-wear. I had a fashion designer working for me. We worked side by side and along the way I learned a lot and started designing my own patterns. Today, I would like to come back to the field. Could you tell me where to start? If you have any offers I'll be glad to consider them. Thank you.
