I wish there was a totalitarian mandate that used the force of government to make people conform and fall in line with the traditional display of a government symbol.

i am a disabled veteran and a former Military Police officer i dont take this as a sign of disrespect. our country is in a state of distress. what i like is how a bunch of people who never served want to tell those of us who did serve what we find offensive. 90% of the veterans and active service members i know agree we are in a state of distress.my family has a long military history. many of my family has served most of us have been to war. and 90% of us agree our country is in big trouble.

as a Navy veteran i see no disrespect in it, FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION is what i fought for. if these people believe Obama is running the country into the ground, i agree. Obama and the Congress are destroying our nation.

In response to the old lady at the end. It used to be a federal offense to fly the flag upside down. Talk to the ACLU and the flag burner crowd if you want to know why it isn't anymore. But the home owner is correct, she has the right to do it as she feels the country is in trouble.
