Thsnks for uploading. Actually I hsve seen these videos before in Dr, Andrew Ng's website. But I couldn't find any information regarding the hardware description. What is the autopilot? or just the controller is running on the host and only sends PWM signals to servos onboard? What are the sensors? how to isolate IMU from nitro vibration effect?

    Thanks

Yes, *if* the ground vehicle can actually hit it.

Maneuverability or just flight requires a high engine power / mass ratio. That means no heavy ordnance, so these would be trivially defeated by an armored ground vehicle.

Policing springs to mind... even home security... not to mention the search and remote medical applications for people lost in forests, mountains or at sea... just drop and forget...and it homes in on survivors... sometimes it delivers food, water and medicine... or in Libya it might deliver death, destruction and mayhem...whatever takes your fancy.

lol... think on! You think autonomous remote aircraft that cost only a few hundred have no military use? Man I could kit that thing out with an uzi and targeting system myself...in less than a day...and it'd be able to shoot the balls off a fly at 100 yards!

or maybe 100 of them that size armed with light armament.... cheaper still...harder to hit...and like a bunch of angry flying rats that spit bullets!
