The 1974 version of the song "Sweet Transvestite" sung By Tim Curry. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING IN THIS, I ONLY PUT IT TOGETHER. I hope you enjoy this!

  • @Burninglilys Because this stage version of the play took place in the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles.

  • @barnacleguy Yeah, definitely, the Roxy version has got to be one of, if not, the best cast recording of any Rocky Horror Production ever.

  • @shiracat I agree ;)

  • @jadonap lol ur right, he does look drunk :D

  • @ianalexanderchmidt Damn! I wish I was there to the performance. I could only imagine how spectacular it was;)

  • @vivaglamrockforever If I could go back in time, the top thing I would do is go see Tim's performance as Frank on stage.

  • I saw the Original at the Roxy in 74'..I'll never forget it..I was a little youngster, Tim Curry died right next to me, I stole the ashtray and the glitter he threw at the end, I still have it!

  • @ianalexanderschmidt I did too. My date took me there and he had no idea what he was getting into. The guy in front of us accidentally lit the plastic wrapper on his cigarette pack before the show started and they had to temporarily delay the show. Other people thought it was part of the performance. I had a blast. Darn, should have kept the glitter. fyi date never called me again.

God you're stupid. Go back and read the comment you posted which I replied to. The guy you complained about stated that in the original production, Magenta etc. were the same as in the movie. You said "Ummm NO, you fool". If you're going to argue my comment has no merit, try to actually show it has no merit. You're just making yourself look stupid.

  • @Xanafar: Apparently your reading comprehension skills also suck! I compared the ROXY CAST vocals/soundtrack to the MOVIE! It was THAT simple. Then this moron jumps down my throat about the original stage production (which i had made absolutely no reference to), and now you jump on his lame bandwagon? Yes I can google, & i never disputed the makeup of the orig cast. Obviously YOU TOO can't see that ur comments, while correct, are specious & have no merit in regards to my original statement.

  • @barnacleguy

Actually, he's right. The ORIGINAL London production. Richard O'Brian was the creator. The other two girls were also in the original London production. This Roxy Cast didn't come out till 1974, Richard etc. were rocking these roles since its very first production (1973). Can't YOU google it?

  • @barnacleguy beg to differ! i actually saw the first run of the show in a small london theater called THE UPSTAIRS back in the early seventies and they where all in it: pat quinn as magenta, richard o`brian as riffraff, little nell as columbia and, of course, tim curry as frank! and believe me: everything after this was lame, even the movie...

  • The original show was in London at the Royal Court Theater Upstairs. Original cast: Dr. Frank N. Furter......... Tim Curry Janet Weiss......... Julie Covington Brad Majors..... Christopher Malcolm Riff Raff...... Richard O'brien Magenta/Usherette .... Patricia Quinn Columbia........ Little Nell Eddie/Dr. E. Scott........ Paddy O'Hagan Rocky Horror......... Rayner Bourton Narrator........... Jonathan Adams (R.I.P.)
  • I'd commented that the Roxy cast were such superior vocalists compared to the movie cast, and some moron ("brabon1") replied the following: "riffraff, columbia and magenta were all in the original stage production..therefore, you are a fucktard." Ummm, NO, you fool. Riffraff was Bruce Scott in the play (Richard OBrien in the film), Magenta was Jamie Donnelly (Patricia Quinn in the film), & Columbia was Boni Enten (Nell Campbell in movie). The moron's obviously too stupid to even google it.

  • Damn, the brass section in this version is peerless.

  • LETS DO THE TIME WARP !!!!! Daaaammmnnnn if only I was born in the same generation as him <3
