Dad Gets Arrested For Spanking His Child

I received an e-mail that had local news (that is local to me) e-mailed to me by yahoo. So this is not DIRECTLY an "I saw it on yahoo" type thing, but it's pretty close.

This goes back to what Richard had said in one of his videos about corporal punishment that I did a response to a while back. As I mentioned in this video, I'm going to also attach THIS video to Richard's video about corporal punishment as a response, because I am pretty sure that Richard will want to share this information with all of you as well.

I don't have a strong opinion on this, but the alternative view is that if you spank your kid, then they think it's okay to hit other people. How can you justify to them that it's okay for YOU to hit them when they're bad, but it's not okay for them to hit other people and other kids when they view those people as being bad? Little kids don't understand the difference...everything is black and white to them. You have to just say "No hitting". Period.

Good...All parents should be brought out into the light when they aggress upon an innocent child.

If your child is acting in manner which you feel deserves "spanking" (call it hitting; it is what it is)...then you need to reflect on your job as a parent...period.

A child is a sponge; if you want to know exactly who you are...look at your young child; this is a direct reflection of YOU.

@BethCM1978 hmm...great views....but hell when i was young i use to get into fights and verbal confrontations...my dad beat my ass real hard with a belt many times....and it straightened my ass up real quick i realize now why he did it and im a much better and respectable man today for him doing so ....so there are good outcomes and bad outcomes....it just matters how people use or abuse their power on a child
