We hebben het over Amy Macdonald, de 19 jarige indie-pop prinses die door de Britse Daily Mail werd uitgeroepen tot de Next Best Thing en dat ook waarmaakte door met haar album op nr 2 in Engeland binnen te komen.

Amy Macdonald is een natuurtalent, een klein meisje met een dijk van een stem en een heel natuurlijke uitstraling. Geen fluisterliedjes, zoals je misschien zou verwachten, maar lekker up-tempo popnummers met een randje (en prachtig Schots accent).

Argh! I went and listened to this Lily Allen, wish I hadn't bothered, don't see how some glitter faced cookie cutter bimbo can compare to our girl Amy MacDonald. Amy's got style, grit, grace, etc... and she's born with it. Doesn't have to be painted on.
