@TheAvocado96 jack and daxter was made back no main character in a game would talk for some reason it took then a while foe game devoplers to think about makeing the playable character talk I hope this answers your question

I think that Jak just doesn't feel need to talk and when he does, Daxter does it before. For example 7:45 Jak is about to tell his name but Daxter starts before him. Besides, if he would be mute he probably wouldn't talk ever

@GravitationLova If Daxter would like shut up for like a full minute JAKE MIGHT BE ABLE TO SAY SOMETHING!!!! He has tried to through out the game, but Daxter jumps in and Jak just let's it go.
