Make a Kite Messenger

A kite messenger is a little boat that flies up a kite string to the kite. It then releases and comes all the way back down the string. Neat and fun little addition to kite flying. Not hard to make and you can scrounge up some parts.

Nice! I used to make something similar, but which returned the sail to 'in-line' by using a rubber band. You can arrange them to spill out confetti, sweets or stuff - cool, thanks!
