You want to connect 2 computers that you have? It's easy! It can be done only by using an Ethernet cable. We will show you how to do it in this video.

  • okay why is it that I just want to see how to network my two computers together, and pretty much all your showing how to do is to make an ethernet cable, something most people already know how to do. I'm pretty sure me making another ethernet isn't going to magically network 2 computers

  • i dont understand!! i plug the ethernet cable and i dont have local area icon on my laptop, only on my computer i have that icon.did you miss something?its not helpful for me.looking all ower the you tube to find proper tutorial already and still nothing dam.i dont even know how to put proper ip for each computer.bahhh

  • this video was so awesome

  • very helpful thank's

  • Also the wire colour arrangement is called CROSS OVER TYPE CANLE PREPARATION , it is primarily used to connect computers and router to modem, this not mentioned in the video,

  • @jagatreview: when u inserting cable in to rj45 pin, the total length of the wire strip should not cross half inch else the cable outer jacket will not enter the rj45 pin and the cable is not tight enough and u can push all the wires till the end. In this video it is evident that outer jacket ie cable outer cover did not enter RJ 45 pin, it will lead to signal loss and connection won't happen, you may make one more video.

  • @checktorma if you cannot connect means something is wrong, so check the cables while you a installing into the RJ-45 and make sure that the order of the wires are correct and then make sure that the trim was straight otherwise one of the cable won't connect with the pin and you will get the same problem as you got.

Note: When you are tightening the cable into the RJ-45 by the UTP cable cutter, you will hear a kind of Snapping, so it helps you that you you've done it correctly. I hope it help.

  • dude i have done the same as you,,but still i dont have any connection,,mean i cannot connect...help plz

  • And you call this easy?! It seems pretty hard to me...

  • why straight??
