Cultural "Christianity" and the Emergent Church (FS) [1of4]

Francis Schaeffer died in 1984. Even before then, though, he could see things creeping into the church that had no business being there. His suggestion? He suggests to make sure there is a line drawn in the sand; to make sure there is a differentiation between theose who hold to a full view of Scripture and those who do not and for those that do to not associate with those that don't without preaching repentance from their unbelief. I agree with the late Dr. Schaeffer.

Great message Lane. Can't wait until the other 3 come out. I always have payed close attention to the thoughts of Mr. Schaeffer. He is truely in tune with our society it seems. I fear for those who's pre-suppositions stand in the way of knowing the truth. May God have mercy on us all...

The Gospel of Christ will always draw a division, because there is the truth of Christ which exists in a world of lies, the words of Christ are Eternal, the words of Christ are foolishness to the world, but as the Father has revealed, he is to be the foundation of life made new, people of this world believe they can be the foundation, and deceive many people into following them, but as the word is sharper than any sword, so it is sharp to devide even them who claim to be of the truth.
