State of the University 2009 Trailer

Penn State President Graham B. Spanier will deliver his 2009 State of the University Address in video format to the University's Board of Trustees beginning at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11. The video portrait will give you a glimpse of some of the ways Penn State is changing the world through research, scholarship, and service. After his board presentation the video will be posted to the President's Web site for viewing by Penn State faculty, staff and students, as well as the general public. The video also will be shown on To the Best of My Knowledge on WPSU-TV and PCN on Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. and the Big Ten Network on Sept. 23 at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and Sept. 24 at 3:30 a.m.

This is the fourth year Dr. Spanier has used the video format for his annual report in an effort to broaden the reach of his State of the University Address. Over the last three years, the video versions have had unprecedented audiences, reaching hundreds of thousands of viewers through the Web site, DVDs, podcasts, and cable television. This is a brief preview of the 2009 State of the University video.
