Christians claim the coming of Jesus Christ was foretold in the Old Testament. But how reliable are these predictions?

  • surree buddy, bible is 100% accurate and all prophecies have come true without 1 single mistake. You claim to know truth well I guess you still need to figure it out.

  • I believe the Bible mentions something about unicorns being real. True?

  • @genetix101 which prophecies have failed according 2 u? Can u give some examples...Thanks...

  • The old testament directly borrows from ancient Egyptian Myth. Powerful and accurate in allegory and metaphor. in describing the evolution of mans spiritual journey from the suffering ego and worldly sin to the symbolic death of or dismantling of the ego and rebirth of the enlightened spirit of God within. Always known as the Christ or Krst or Christos. The character Jesus exemplified this. This business of the bible being literal or historical has hidden the truth by creating the idol Jesus

  • No, modern translations say the "unicorn" was an ox. The KJV also mentions satyrs, cockatrices, and dragons. The point here is, if the Bible is truly inspired by God and is perfect, then why are there so many English translations and why do some translations contradict others?

  • Unicorn in the Bible was not referring to what we think of unicorn today. Unicorn simply means "one horn", and many scholars believe that refers to a rhinoseraus or another one-horned animal.

  • 100%??!!? A quick google reveals that biblical Hebrew didn't have tenses (past/present/future) like modern English. The Old Testament *was* translated into Greek before it was translated to English. The Greeks *did* name their authors. And there *are* multiple different versions of each OT text in existence.

I guess the truth hurts :)

  • 100% wrong and dont know what ur talking about

  • Exellent video, friend. You also have to understand that many prophecies have clearly failed 100%. So, this is not only a God who likes to revise his text, but "missed a few spots"
