IF YOU'RE A SUBSCRIBER AND YOU GOT SPAMMED WITH THIS VIDEO FROM ME I'M SORRY. I've had to re-upload it 6/7 freaking times (I'm not even sure now it's been so many times) now due to audio issues and me being too stubborn to give you guys a crackle filled song. It should be largely fixed though, with a very small amount of offenders.

The song you are now listening to has been a 5 year work in progress and something that has taken every ounce of know how and patience I have to get right. This version of the song started out in 2004 and is a collaboration between myself and a wonderful girl from Canada named Talismon2k1. The entire base composition is hers with me making a multitude of my own changes etc. BTW Talismon, if you ever read this/listen to this song send me a message :P.

This song was originally released on Soundclick in January of 2005.... however I believe the song was finished in late 2004. I may have put it on VGMix first, to be honest I don't remember... it's been a long time.

After originally finishing it, it had a great response from people overall, but I wasn't satisfied with it... I've been waiting this long till... I had to proper software, and skill set to realize the vision; the sound that was playing in my head for all those years.

For those wondering about why I'm not on OCRemix it's because I just don't submit anything. The first and only time I've ever been on a song that was submitted was the Chrono Cross song (TX10), and it failed due to being to close to the source... something I realized when it was submitted but was unwilling to change since I enjoyed it for what it was. Sadly even if I wanted to change it/update it now, a computer issue caused me to lose all my files (including that one) a few years back.

I speak of OCRemix because this is likely going to be the first song I've submitted to them since the song mentioned from 2004.

I truly hope you enjoy this song.

This ends the 5 Christmassy/Winter Wednesdays for this year. Tomorrow starts the final stretch of the Mario music, along with the HUGE New Year's announcement tomorrow night.

Also a little heads up if you read all of this. The static, or any oddities you hear in the audio are strictly YouTube related. The song is clearer and has no issues in MP3 format... and speaking of MP3, this song will be available in that format if it makes OCRemix... if not I will be on Remix the Sauce in the coming months.

@DieTheDeath I use FL Studio. It's not free, but it's very affordable at $99, and there is a demo. I believe Reaper (if still free) is a good alternative.

Why did OCRemix reject this one? Personally, I like it ten times more than the multitude of other Ice Cap mixes I've seen there.

@WritersBlah They never rejected it. I didn't submit the song. I couldn't get into contact with Talismon2k1. It had been 5 years, so I have no idea what's become of her as she deactivated her old email. If I get a song or two on, and do some more work on this one perhaps something can be worked out down the road in regards to this being submitted.

Love the song, it's definitely the one of the best remixes out there. Only thing I can be nitpicky about is that the brass seems to have a bit too much of a vibration sound.
