After some improvements the STIRKL 5 gamma Stirling engine produces some useful power. As a generator serves small AC motor from an old CD-ROM drive. The engine is heated by gas and operates @ app. 600rpm. Load is made of five 6V, 0.1A (=0.6W) bulbs. The engine generates some power...

  • I am Brazilian and use google translator, I was wondering if it is to transform power from AC to DC power or would lose in 3 WATTS

  • @leandrojwfolha stirling engine transforms heat to mechanical energy (shaft rotation). This model, with an AC motor connected to the shaft, can produce appr. 2 Watts of electric power. Using DC generator DC power can be produced as well.
