@icapoi - The quantum world is not dependent upon the observer. You have that wrong. Observation impacts the state of quantum particles, yes. There is no evidence of consciousness in these particles. Consciousness requires a brain or computing devise. This is woo woo.

I don't think this is non sense nor do I think he is saying these two things are spooky. The quantum world is small in theory and only represents a world of possibilities not actual proven things. The so called quantum world is dependent upon the observer which is similar ,if not the same, as the subjective/objective consciousness mentioned by the mystics. I think he makes good points when describing the non local consciousness and supra-mental states which may not be mentioned in this clip.

This nonsense is what Deepak Chopra is peddling. Dr. Goswami is mixing language from quantum physics and mystical traditions. His whole argument is that the quantum world is very spooky and mystical thought is spooky, so they must go together. But the quantum world is very small. Our cognition functions at a larger, cortical scale.

I loved this movie it blew my mind but I have to admit I struggle to hear everything he says...I get most of it but I have to really pay attention.  Just wish the movie was subtitled or something.
