@tony3461 One more thing I should mention, the two seat SR-71 also has ventral fins under the engine nacelles for directional stability due to increased fuselage area, but no central fold down fin like the YF-12.

@Chaindoggie Yep, that badass is 107 ft 5 inches long, 55ft 7 in wingspan and 18 ft 6 in.height.

@xfire7 You're right, the chines end where the nose cone begins (look closely in the first few seconds), and there are ventral fins under the engine nacelles of the YF-12A. There is also another fold down ventral fin in the rear of the fuselage that's deployed during flight.

Not true, the SR-71 A/B/C's had these flattened out nose cones... This one has the round nose cone witch obviosly isn't a SR-71. xfire7 is right, nice try...

the aircraft in the first few seconds is not and sr-71...its a yf-71...the armed prototype version of the sr-71
