Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said on Sunday that she hoped for a "military airlift" to bring supplies to Haiti, during a brief humanitarian visit to the impoverished nation. (Dec. 12)

I am less comfortable with the judgement of Sarah Palin regarding a humanitarian issue like Haiti than with anyone else. I have never heard anyone say less in more words than this individual. Truly, she is one of the most weak-minded, short-sighted, simpletons ever to reach such a level of national prominence. Well, Dan Quayle may figure somewhere in there close, too.
