Exiting Gate 10, USAG Yongsan and to get onto Hwy 21 South to Highway 70. No left turn on Hwy 21 from Itaewon Blvd. Drive thru the intersection, u-turn under the over pass, double back towards Yongsan, then turn right now onto Hwy 21 South.

35 years ago right under that big overpass there were outdoor vendors selling vegetables, bones for soup, sesame seed candy, you name it...there was an elevated traffic circle connecting to those overpasses but I understand it was taken down in the 1990s.

i was at 121 in 77-78...looks like gate 10 was the gate i used to exit the base and head east to itaewon...not sure though, have been looking for video or pics of the area to see my old barracks the hospital etc...
