HCBTO Chapter Four [part two]

Parker: "You Alright?"
Me: "Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine."
Parker: "Are you sure?"
Me: "Yeah."
Parker: "Look, if anythings wrong you know I'm here for you right?"
Me: "I know Parker, I love you."

I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. "You guys know if Mr. Suarez saw that you'd be in trouble." Jordan came out and decided to tell us the obvious, "Come on guys, we need a little help!?" I laughed and pulled Parker towards the gym. I was actually starting to feel better, as If nothing happened. It was weird how Parker can do that to me. I loved how he gave me butterflies when I see him and how he makes me smile the second I see him. It's amazing right? I was on Parker's shoulders the whole time decorating the walls. I swear I felt like he was going to drop me, but I trusted him. By the end of the day I was back to normal. It was as if there was no Nick in my life, well not really. I talked on the phone with Parker till 1am that night.
I woke up perfectly fine the next day, I called Ricky asked him if he could give me a ride over to school. "Ew, plastics." I said looking over at them. Ricky giggled, "Plastics? Nevermind I don't wanna know." "No, you don't," I laughed and Ricky drove off. I swear, all I wanted to do was snap their necks.

Kayla: "Hey Ria."
Laura: "Rumor has it your going out with Parker."
Me: "Its not a rumor."
Laura: "Wow, Parker, nice catch."
Me: "Yeah I know, he's the sweetest and -"
Kayla: "So how did you exactly get him to be yours? Used your little slut moves?"
Me: "Excuse me?"
Jordan: "You guys are just jealous because she can get a guy and you can't"
Kayla: "Whatever." They walked away.
Me: "Thanks Jordan."
Jordan: "No Problem RiRi what are friends for?"
Me: "More like what are Asian brothers for?"
Jordan: "Ha, yes!"
Me: "So do you like how the gym looks?! Be honest!"
Jordan: "I don't know? I'm just helping out with whatever."
Me: "Wow, Jordan, well thank you for that."
Jordan: "Guess what I can play on the guitar?"
Me: "WHAT!?"
Jordan: "When you look me in the eyes."
Me: "No way! You are the best! Gotta show me okay! Or take a video and put on youtube!"

Jordan knew how to play anything and everything on any instrument, like seriously. Parker played the guitar, he's never played or sang in front of anyone, but I was hoping maybe I'd be his first, and Jordan was the only person who knew this. Because I know other people would go off and tell Parker and I wouldn't want that. I walked in and saw Parker just standing there. I ran over and jumped on his back, "Hey you here." He grabbed my hand and pulled me out to the sideyard, "Stay here." "Okay?" I was a little confused about what was going on. Parker came back with his guitar, I got this feeling in my stomach and this huge smile came to my face. "I haven't played in front everyone, but I learned this song for you. Sorry I kinda suck." He started to play 'Your Guardian Angel' By Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I started to cry. He stopped playing, I heard everyone rush to the door and I didn't even bother to look over my shoulder. He didn't even bother to look away. I was lost in his eyes, and in an instand he leaned in and we kissed. Nothing ruined the moment, not one 'score' or 'aw' was even heard. It was something unforgettable.
The end of the day rolled around and I was going to get a dress for homecoming. I had enough money to by one from Macy's or JCpenny, so I was really excited, I was planning on getting a pink one. Makayla's older brother, Michael, was taking all of us to the mall. I ran upstairs to grab my purse, we stopped by house first. When I got upstairs I saw a bunch of flowers and a card. I opened the card and a gift card dropped out, it was a 900 dollar gift card to Jessica Mcclintock. What? Is the first thing I though. It was from Nick. He wrote a huge apology letter to me and he said that he wanted to give me the gift card so my friends and I could get an amazing dress for our homecoming. "Oh My Gosh," I said. Liane ran up to my room, "Hey you ready? Let's go." I grabbed the gift card and ran down stairs. "Hey guys, a friend gave me a 900 dollar gift card to Jessica's so we can all get our dresses there." I said. "Are you ****ing serious?!" Pieper smiled. We ran into the car. We got our dresses and it was amazing. Pieper knew that Nick gave it to me, "Don't get head over heals just because he has money." "I promise you I won't," I replied. Parker and I stayed up pretty late again, he ordered the crossage while asking me what color my dress was. I didn't bother telling him where I got my dress, and he didn't ask, so I was safe.
