Its a 2009 15'4 gheenoe with a 2011 mercury 9.9 4-stroke, with bobs mini jack plate, and fixed trim tabs. Im doing about 21mph and about half way through the video it gets really shallow...about 12-18 inches.

  • Do you notice much difference with the jackplate, manual operation? Also where do you get the trim tabs from? Hydrofoil? I like your setup.

  • @Nathancl22 yes i can run much shallower and i gained about 2mph. I got my fixed trim tabs from TSG(dot)com, they only keep the bow from porpusing when at WOT and i have no foil.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Nice rig man, i just bought this boat, how much would you say u spent on your rig?

  • @Nathancl22 for boat, trailer, motor, and everying added on i would say i have spend close to 5,500 bucks. Everything is bought brandnew from the deck, motor, boat and trailer.

  • very nice boat looks like it rides nice. i would suggest a grab bar because its really nice to stand up with comfort also i would suggest trim tabs, for me the tabs helped alot. for you i think it would allow you to run more shallow and ride more stable while on plane. you dont really need them but they are nice to have. i really like you boat.

  • @ShallowAssault772 Thanks! I already have fixed tabs to prevent porpoising when at WOT and a jack plate.

Check out the CustomGheenoe Forum if you already havnt, my name is Jeepin Gheenoe.

  • x2 on the grab bar as well as one for the front passenger as leg stretching is a must. That is near insane speed for such a craft lol. I like!

  • nice set up. I want something like that. thanks for sharing your video.

  • how stable are gheenoe's? for standing and moving about

  • Customgheenoe Rules! Love the boat!
