I really liked the trapazoid generator in the last video, but it didn't quite fit my current workflow. So I replaced it with the PH-4 and a few other modules. The Cwejman PH-4 is a beautiful 4 phase LFO, it outputs 4 phases of one LFO at 90 degree invervals. It's excellent for panning. Here I'm testing out some stereo panning tricks with the PH-4. It and the Doepfer 143-1 Complex Envelope Generator/LFO are modulating the filters and the 143-1 is controlling one of the gates in the M13 Dual Timbral Gate. The Model 10 Polyphonic Envelope Generator controls the other gate. In addition to the Cwejman MMF-1, the PlanB Model 11 Evil Twin and Harvestman Polivoks filters are used. MFB Seq-01 sequences. and triggers the 143-1, Model 10, and Jomox MBase01 for the kick.
The FH-4 is one sweet module for panning and VC for filters.
I thought the last video I uploaded was just too dorky sounding. I tried to make this one sound "cool". Put on yer sunglasses kinda cool.
This one you HAVE TO watch in stereo here:

are you using the mx 4s as your main "out" to the soundcard/monitors? if so how does that work for you. would you ever use another vca after?
thanks

@boognish48 I no longer have this system, but yes, I was using the MX-4S as my final mix out into the DAW. I also used an INS-MX2 as an effects send/return. Never used a VCA after the MX-4S, there was no need since I usually have VCAs and LPGs before the signal went into the MX-4S.

Thanks, this was a fun one to patch up too.
For some reason, I keep thinking about an orange stuffed monkey boppin his head...
