  • This is the first video I've watched by Linda, and I love her already! She is definitely my cup of tea :D

  • I learned how to make a button hole in 2:59 now I'm adding buttons to everything!

  • finally, someone who recommended using a pin at the ends so that you would not accidentally rip through the buttonhole!

  • The machine does the work. Ah well, it's neat I suppose, but it's also a messy result after cutting; a lot of frayed inner fabric. Comes as result of the stitching being a little too far apart. There's a place for machined buttonholes (I'd say it was on a shirt where satin-stitched buttonholes would be tricky any other way. But jackets should be done by hand for a proper bound buttonhole - assuming people don't have costly genuine keyhole button-holer.

  • I'm a beginer sewer---This was great!! You made it look nice and easy. I'm going to try it this week

  • thank you!!! That was a great video, nicely done! I might even get brave enough to try making a buttonhole now! :)

  • Thanks for the vid. Everything was so clear. Just wanted to know what do you do in the case where you have knitted or stretchy material. My manual says that you have to use a gimp thread. Could you do a tutorial on this please? Also when do you use a stabiliser?

  • @slikazn you said it sister
