@jdmnismomike the 2 factories have different numbers because they work in different markets. honda has huge quantities of resources and engeeneers but in SBK in 23 years (1988-2010) ducati won 16 championships (more than a half!). and i say SBK and not motoGP 'cause i'm talking about motorcycles available to the public, not prototypes. Compare mercedes to ferrari, a mercedes has more market, it cost less, it's fast, efficient and comfortable but driving a ferrari is better than having sex ;)
