  • (Cont') and that is the point I want to make. When he was training for all the major contests zane trained anywhere from 3 on/1 off to 6 days a week to 6 days double split wkts. He trained each wkt heavy, little rest, slow negatives, up to 1000 reps of ab work...all on a low carb low cal diet. Now who's the strong one?

  • We need to look at this video in the right perspective. Frank Zane is at least 25 years older than shawn ray and kevin levrone. Zane has always been very secure about himself and didn't feel the need to lift 'over his head' just because levrone and shawn ray were. Someone wrote that zane was not strong. Not true. If you read his Training diaries, zane lifted very good weight in every exercise he did.
