Yes i agree with you..............
The US did in fact poked their noses into vietnam's affairs , when they are not supposed to do so, because they did not know , what was actually going on in vietnam and it's history.
And in the end the general people bore the brunt of all napalm bombs, air attacks and enmasse killings of innocent viet people.
I just hope that all will be well......................hmmm

China too tried to attack vietnam later (1979 ) , right after the american invasion (1975 ) , and CHINA too ran away from vietnam by incurring too much casualties and deaths among it's soldiers , and in which CHINA and the US ran away back to their hometurf , scared like hell.
In fact both the invaders were taught a very very painful lesson by a strong vietnam.
I love MOTHER vietnam... as i always had. : )))

But i just could not understand on WHY the US had to attack a peaceful vietnam , which was only trying to protect itself from harm.
And it was pathetic that the americans resorted to using agent orange and napalm bombs , which have killed and disfigured thousands of peaceful vietnamese people.
BUT in the end , the aggressors ( US ) ran for their lives in the 1970's , not being able withstand the true spirit of the strong and kind hearted viet people.
And with the US , CHINA too ran away.
