I think people think he's 'hot' or whatever is because he's a rebel. Looks sort of emo, he does have good looks, even without the make up and the eyeliner, and he has crazy black hair. Some girls really like the emo/punk/rebel type guys. PLUS he's smokes...alot...so thats another 'rebelious' thing about him.
Personally:
I like him. I know...its dumb but I find him VERY appealing, and his music (to me) is just gold. Tropics (band he played/plays (?) with) is way cool, guy in band thing...
